The Draft Council Plan 2021-25, Proposed Budget 2021-22, and Revenue and Rating Plan were endorsed by Council earlier this week, and the community is now invited to view and provide feedback.

The Draft Council Plan outlines Council's commitment to: enhancing liveability, being clean and green, responding to the climate emergency, providing open spaces, and building a well maintained city that will meet the needs of our diverse community over the next four years and beyond.

In 2021, Maribyrnong City Council’s smart city journey is well underway and we would like to invite your feedback on a Smart City Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan that will guide the future of our Smart City program.

A Smart City refers to the use of digital technology to collect data that can be used to manage assets and resources efficiently. Smart Cities can help create more liveable cities, without compromising the well-being and privacy of their citizens. They are innovative in their use of digital solutions to manage services and infrastructure effectively, improve the wellbeing of the community and the environment, and support a vibrant local economy.

Council is committed to co-designing this Framework with the community and key stakeholders.  Your feedback is now welcome on the Your City Your Voice platform until 13 May 2021.
