CAPABILITY STATEMENT AND TENDERING TIPS WORKSHOP - THIS THURSDAY
This interactive workshop by the Queensland Department of State Development aims to help businesses develop and prepare effective capability statements and learn how to stand out through the tendering process.

The Small Business Needs Survey is closing next Friday, 16 February. Your input is important to help develop tailored workshops and essential initiatives that address the specific requirements of our existing business community.  Thank you to those who have already responded.

BUSINESS IMPACT SURVEY

Department of Education, Small Business and Training are reaching out to small business owners impacted by Tropical Cyclone Kirrily. The details you provide in this survey will be utilised by government to inform recovery and resilience plans for businesses.

There is a range of support and assistance available to small businesses:

- One-on-one mentoring through the Mentoring for Growth program
- Mental Health and well-being support including free one-on-one wellness coaching to help with your unique personal business challenges

- A range of advocacy services through the Queensland Small Business Commissioner's office.

Get involved in 10 days in the Towers! Charters Towers businesses and organisations are encouraged to host an event, or activity, or offer an exclusive promotional discount between 26 April to 5 May 2024. 

Council will showcase these contributions in a comprehensive booklet distributed online and throughout the Region, acting as a guide for both our local community and visitors. We hope that businesses and organisations use the opportunity to enhance their presence, engage with the community and collaborate with others to promote and grow this longstanding event.
