We are excited for the return of the Grow Your Business Armadale program in 2024.
The City of Armadale has partnered with the Small Business Development Corporation to offer FREE specialised business development opportunities to small local businesses within the Armadale area.
The workshops are delivered in person and designed to equip small business owners with the skills to tackle business challenges and embrace opportunities for business growth.
Both workshops below will be hosted at the City of Armadale Function Room, 7 Orchard Avenue, Armadale.
Places are limited so register now to avoid missing out.
Workshop 1: Creating and curating your social media content
Thursday 8 August, 9.30am to 12 noon
- Easy to learn techniques for creating social media content
- Effective strategies to curate engaging posts
- Content brainstorming processes for continuous creativity
- How to design visually appealing and shareable posts
This workshop is ideal for business owners looking to establish their brand’s online presence.
Workshop 2: Financial literacy and capability skills
Thursday 17 October, 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Business planning concepts including activity-based budgeting
- Understanding profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow forecasting
- Practical strategies to keep track of your business finances.
This workshop is for business owners who struggle with their financial literacy and understanding their numbers.
The City of Armadale acknowledges the funding support of the State Government through the Small Business Development Corporation to deliver these workshops.
2024 AGM and Sundowner –
Armadale Chamber of Commerce
The Armadale Chamber of Commerce has undergone significant changes in the past year. The City of Armadale continues its long-standing partnership with the Chamber to support local businesses including collaboration on various initiatives and programs aimed at fostering economic growth and development in the region.
The Armadale Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Annual General Meeting and Sundowner, and you are invited to go along and network with your peers.
At this meeting you will get an update on what’s been happening over the past year at the Chamber and have some input in the upcoming year. New Board members will be introduced and nominations for open positions will also be accepted on the evening.

Switched on Business Workshops
