Exciting developments are on the horizon for Armadale, thanks to successful advocacy efforts by the City. We are pleased to announce the City has been awarded a Federal Government grant to establish the Armadale University Study Hub. This new facility, located in the heart of the City Centre, will provide students with dedicated study spaces, computer access, video conferencing, and academic support — allowing them to pursue university courses without the need to travel long distances. The hub is set to open mid 2025 reducing barriers to education and fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and workforce development right here in Armadale. In another major win, the State Government (both Labor and Liberal) have made an election commitment of $20 million towards the Armadale Regional Recreation Reserve (ARRR). This multi-stage development will create a regional sporting and community hub, catering to Armadale’s growing population and strengthening our position as a key destination in Perth’s South East corridor. Stage 1A of the ARRR includes 10 outdoor netball courts, 6 indoor multi-purpose courts, and essential amenities such as office space, changerooms, parking, and lighting. These projects represent significant investment in our community’s future — creating opportunities for local businesses, supporting workforce development, and enhancing the liveability of our city. We will continue advocating for initiatives that drive economic growth, improve local infrastructure, and make Armadale an even better place to live, work, study, and do business. Help shape the future of WA’s business landscape by taking part in CCIWA’s Business Confidence Survey—the state’s most comprehensive and longest-running business survey. Your insights will contribute to valuable economic analysis, influence policy advocacy, and help businesses navigate challenges like labour costs, profitability, and investment trends. Workshop:

In this workshop, we’ll dive into practical ways to craft intrinsic motivation and boost behaviour change, both for yourself, your organisation and for those around you. This workshop was developed and will be delivered by Rik Bass as part of his presentation at the World Conference on Behavioural Change in Antwerp. While the session is designed to be interactive and enjoyable, its core goal is to demonstrate how you can ignite motivation and drive behaviour change using a science-based approach.
